This is a free compilation album that I put together featuring some brand new songs and older songs that have been hanging around.
Track 2: A Feeling Called Lonely is a very new recording which I did in June 2022 and was meant to be included on next official Armstrong release but I decided to include it here.
There are also two or three which have appeared on other Armstrong albums but I have mixed them slightly or decided they would fit perfectly on this compilation. There are also 2 mixed versions of songs from Happy Graffiti and a 4 track instrumental version of 'Eyes Open Wide'.
As musical excerpts, I also included 2x very old tape recordings of me singing a song I wrote in early 1980s (on a cassette tape machine) and a song I wrote with a very old band mate in the 1980s which we called 'Driving Me Back Home' which was completely influenced by the classic song 'Driving Away From Home' by It's Immaterial.
There are also 2x versions of a recording I did for Wally who runs the Beautiful Music record label (releaser of all Armstrong CD Albums) . The track was recorded especially for Wally's part on the Mitch and Mark NWR Radio show - a section called 'Wally's University'.
Anyway - hope you like this compilation - it is absolutely free and I always do my best to ensure that the songs are strong (free album or no free album)
Cheers, Julian (Armstrong)!!
